My son started Larry's shooting course just over 3 months ago. We have had 5 lessons at 1 hour each. Larry has gone above and beyond with his skills training.  He does not let the kids just get by. He makes 100% sure that they understand. My son's shot took off literally after the 2nd lesson. My boy is always referring to Larry's direction on shooting and would honestly ho to him 7 days a week if allowed. Money well spent!

Larry has a connection with kids that really helps them not only understand but is also motivating. The attention to detail shows when I watch my son practice at home. You see him analyze his own shots just like Larry does, critical of the mechanics and pushing himself harder.  My son has the utmost respect for Larry, and much of his approach to be better is a result of how Larry teaches. My son Aiden started seeing Larry a little over a year ago. Our first session he wasn’t very strong with taking a slap shot and we learned he was even using the wrong flex for his stick. Fast forward to today and his slap shot is day and night. Not only has Larry taught him how to shoot but he has also talked to him about how to be ready for a hit after a shot and has talked defense strategies with him. Aiden’s confidence has increased tremendously since working with him.

I was referred to Larry by a few friends.   I decided to give him a try.  I have two rambunctious little boys 11and 8 year old. 
Larry has been working with my two boys for over a year. It was tough at first with my youngest. He struggled with his focus. Larry was very patient with him. My 11 your old really took to his lessons. His shot has improved tremendously... Now my oldest son has one of the hardest shots on the team. I cannot thank Larry enough for all of his help and effort that he puts into every one of his lessons.

Unfortunately I did not discover Larry’s clinic sooner.  My 14 year old started in late spring…his shot drastically improved in speed and accuracy. Went from 65 to almost 80 mph in just over 4 months. Now I see the improved technique working its way into game play... Our youngest is Larry’s biggest fan asking on a weekly basis “Do we have Depalma this week?”... Coach Larry displays many talents in encouraging and boosting confidence contributed to my daughter's skills in hockey and wins on the ice... He is wonderful with teaching young players the shots and strategies of the game. His mentorship and constructive feedback allow her to self-correct in games and when she is shooting on her own and not in his facility. With Larry’s coaching, my son’s shot has developed significantly. Larry  focuses on the mechanics of the shot that most team coaches don’t have the time for. Hand placement, puck position and body positioning are taught. Larry also thinks of different ways to communicate what he is trying to show when my son might not be picking it up right away. If your player truly listens, he can learn a lot from Larry.
